Burlington is finally opening Friday in Columbus. Here’s what you need to know.
Big news for Columbus shoppers — Burlington is celebrating its grand opening this Friday and Saturday.
The Columbus store is the 28th location in the state to bring deals and steals to shoppers and will include a fresh new store layout to create an all-around great shopping experience.
“Our goal is to continue to offer communities great values on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” said Michael O’Sullivan, CEO, Burlington Stores, in a news release this morning. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and excited to be opening a store in Columbus, Georgia. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover fantastic prices on a wide range of products. We know they will love the deals.”
As always, Burlington customers will find something for the whole family, even furry friends. That’s right — Burlington has apparel and footwear for women, men, and kids, baby products, and home décor, as well as pet care and toys.
Join in on all the fun, which will begin during tomorrow’s grand opening.
On Friday, April 1, there will be a ribbon cutting and a presentation of a $5,000 donation to the teachers at the Reese Road Leadership Academy, courtesy of Burlington stores. The ceremony starts at 7:45 a.m. at the Cross Country Plaza (3201 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA 31906).
After the ribbon cutting, the first 100 customers (18 and up) will receive a $5 gift card to use toward their purchase at the new store.
On Saturday, April 2, the celebration continues with free Burlington umbrellas for all customers, no purchase necessary (while supplies last).
