The emergency siren was only a test
No need to panic.
The emergency warning siren that went off at 9 a.m. was just a drill for Tornado Awareness Week. The drill had been originally planned for Wednesday but was postponed because the possibility of severe weather, the Georgia Emergency Management Agency said.
