97% of Columbus Technical College grads are finding jobs after graduation, school says
The numbers show it.
More people are graduating from Columbus Technical College and finding jobs in their chosen fields, according to a press release from the college.
The “in-field” job placement rate for academic year 2019 is 100% job placement overall, the release states.
“To see these job placement numbers – especially the ‘in-field’ placement rate - means we are accomplishing our mission in a big way,” Martha Ann Todd, president, said in the October press release.
“Achieving this goal requires everyone at the college working together to meet the needs of our students and successfully fill the needs of our business and industry partners.”
Other CTC benchmark numbers of note from the release:
- 97.4 % rate for graduates finding jobs in their chosen fields, up from 88.5 %
- 9% overall enrollment increase this fall term compared to last year’s fall term
- 3,507 students enrolled as of October 1
- 584 students enrolled in the college adult education program as of October 1
