Amazing Race 2010: Who got eliminated in the Amazing Race Season 17 Episode 10?
In the Amazing Race Season 17 Episode 10, doctors Nat and Kat are first place. Dating couple Nick and Vicki are last place though they are not removed from the race because it's a non-elimination leg.
The remaining four teams start the 10th leg of the Amazing Race Season 17 in Bangladesh. They get their clues and learn they must fly the 3,500 miles to Hong Kong, where they'll take a bus and ferry to Cheung Po Tsai Cave.
Jill and Thomas get their clue first, buy their tickets at a travel agent and realize that not only do they have hours to spare but that all the teams will be on the same flight. That gets them worried about seeing Brook and Claire, who they U-Turned in the ninth leg and hoped they wouldn't see again.
The other teams get their first clue and go to the airport, where the awkward encounter with Jill and Thomas and Brook and Claire occurs. Thomas says he U-Turned them because he sees them as the biggest threat.
The teams fly to Hong Kong, and Jill and Thomas get on the first bus. They easily reach the first ferry to the island, as do Nat and Kat and Brook and Claire. Nick and Vicki, however, are too late and must take the second ferry, which doesn't leave for another 30 minutes.
In that time, the first three teams reach the island, find the cave and their next clue: Go to the Majesty Chinese Restaurant. They head back to the ferries, return to the mainland, get their taxis and find the restaurant and their Roadblock: Find Fake Food.
One team member must poke around a buffet of real food with only a few, very realistic fake pieces in it. Anything they pick that is real, they must eat.
Nat and Kat quickly find the fake item and get the next clue: Find the Bruce Lee statue. They reach the statue and discover this leg's Detour: Ding Ding or Sanpan.
In Ding Ding, teams must take the eponymous buses that travel the city and pick out three specific neon signs out of a plethora of such signs. If they pick the correct three, it'll tell them the location of the Pit Stop.
In Sampun, the teams must take two parakeets with a registration number attached to the cage on a boat. Using flood lights, they'll search a host of other boats in the same bay until they find the one with the matching number. When they find it, they'll exchange the birds for the clue to the next Pit Stop.
Jill and Thomas picked Ding Ding and couldn't find the right signs, leading them to Sampun. Nat and Kat had been on the water for a long time, though Jill and Thomas quickly spotted their boat and got the clue to the Pit Stop: Statue Square.
Nat and Kat weren't far behind, and the two teams raced by taxi to the square and Phil. Nat and Kat reached Phil in first place and won a trip for two to Brazil.
Jill and Thomas are second place.
Meanwhile, back at the Majesty, Nick and Vicki arrived late but Brook and Claire are having problems finding a fake piece of food. Nick laughs as Claire races to the bathroom to vomit after eating so much food, but he grows quiet when Claire returns and quickly finds a fake bowl of rice. The home shopping hosts race off, leaving Nick and Vicki in the Majesty.
Brook and Claire chose Sampun and are on the water at the same time as Nick and Vicki. Nick, however, is whining about being tired and hungry and he finally lies down on the boat and goes to sleep.
Brook and Claire find their boat, return to shore and reach the Pit Stop in third place.
Nick and Vicki, however, are not eliminated because this is a non-elimination leg of the Amazing Race.
