Murder warrant issued for suspect in 24th Street shooting
Columbus police have named Labrandon Brown as a suspect in the shooting death of Lavonte Thomas and have issued a murder warrant for his arrest.
According to a report from the Columbus police, Brown is also known as “Big Baby.”
It was on April 30 around 11:13 p.m. that officers responded to 1414 24th St. in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival they found Thomas suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was transported to Midtown Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Police say anyone coming in contact with Brown should use extreme caution as he is considered armed and dangerous.
