LaGrange plans event to screen Pine Mountain Valley episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

A special showing of a locally filmed episode of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is planned in downtown LaGrange on May 16.

The LaGrange Downtown Development Authority and the Emory Clark-Holder Clinic, which provided volunteers for the makeover project, are partnering to sponsor an event to showcase the episode that was was filmed earlier this year in Pine Mountain Valley.

The showing event, which will feature food and live music, will begin at 6 p.m. and the episode will air at 8 p.m. The episode will be shown outside in Lafayette Square.

Downtown eatery The Lazy Peach will be serving food, band Rustic Charlie will play music and local candy shop Sugermeyer's will have popcorn and other goodies available.
