Greater good, either way

What you call "corporate welfare" has two forms. One is tax incentives to encourage capital investment, creating jobs and boosting local economies. The other is temporary financial assistance for endangered corporations, saving thousands of jobs.

Selective recollection

It's amazing how Hillary can remember so much about Lebanon way back in the late '80s and she can't remember a thing about Benghazi.

The 'Be more like me' denomination

It's easy to know that people giving advice to Christians on how to practice their religion differently are not Christians themselves or they wouldn't be so judgmental.

Problem is MCSD

I blame the school district for Jordan's gang and discipline problems. They've been trying to kill off Jordan for years, just like they did Baker. Just look at what they did to the attendance zone.

Credit where it's due

I hate to bust your ignorance bubble, but it was Fox News that exposed Obama's lie to U.S. citizens that the Benghazi attack was the result of a video.

Where can I sign up?

Congress members "earn" $174,000 a year with four months paid vacation. After five years "work" they receive $133,000 a year pension for life with free healthcare. Many of them don't even show up for "work."

Strictly business

A sure-fire way to run this city: Every department should take directions from the dispatchers with the Columbus Police Department. They are organized and efficient, work well under stress, and don't take no bull.

The Republican presidential debates reminded me of the Three Stooges, except there were more than three.

I wonder how many of these women who are against Planned Parenthood take birth control pills. Same thing. Smaller scale.
