Sound Off for Sunday, November 8, 2015
Let's look on the bright side of Auburn-Georgia -- one of them is going to win an SEC game.
Judgment
I'm not flapping my own pair of angel wings but there will come a day when Hillary will have to answer to God about all of her lies and evil activities.
Two problems, one solution
We should empty out our prisons, give them six weeks training and send them to Syria.
Hadn't heard that one
They don't call Paul Ryan the "zombie-eyed granny-starver" for nothing.
Local reinvestment
Taking a mere $1,000 savings out of a Wall Street bank and depositing into a local bank or credit union injects $1,000 into the local economy and denies $20,000 from Wall Street gamblers, through "leverage."
Chemically acquiescent
We Americans are overdosed and overpriced on drugs we are taking. Are we so zonked out that we can't say "Enough -- we're not putting up with this anymore"?
Too late to rethink it?
The commuter traffic on 13th Street between Columbus and Phenix City is awful during morning and evening rush hours. This problem didn't need to happen. They shouldn't have closed the 14th Street Bridge.
More fuel on the way
Hell fires are burning hotter because of the expected increase of liberal Democrats headed there. This may be the cause of global warming.
Not the grabbing, but the letting go
The policeman was fired for not following proper police procedures. If you get your hands on a suspect, you keep them there.
Ideological bubble
The GOP lives in the hermetically-sealed world of Fox News and special interests. They don't want change because they are quite content to keep things the way they are.
Wage job
It's obvious that the company doing the Whittlesey Road widening is working by the hour.
Good news on the horizon
Cheer up, Georgia, Auburn and Tech fans this time next year we will have a new president of the United States. Smile.
There were alternatives
I think the removal of the young girl from the classroom could have taken place in a non-violent way. In my day, we were sent to the office.
