Luks Hafner, Cottonmouths shut out Fayetteville

Columbus’ Lukas Hafner stopped all 29 shots he faced as the Cottonmouths blanked Fayetteville 2-0 on Saturday night.

Spencer Galbraith scored an unassisted goal at 10:41 of the first period to give the Snakes a 1-0 lead.

Derek Gingera scored the second goal at 7:11 of the third period. Alex Pomepo and Dylan McKinlay picked up assists.

The Snakes evened their record at 3-3 with the win.

Columbus plays twice at Pensacola next weekend on Friday and Saturday. Both games are at 8 p.m.
