Cottonmouths sign Loewen to fill in for Jaeger

The Cottonmouths have signed Andrew Loewen to a three-game contract to fill in for Brandon Jaeger, who has been added to the roster of the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL.

Loewen was available Thursday night in Huntsville for the Snakes' game against the Havoc. He will also be on the squad Saturday in Columbus and next Friday in Columbus.

Loewen did not to return full-time after this past season, but he has stepped in to help the team.

In 2014-15, Loewen started 32 games and had 18 wins and 10 loses. His goals against average was 2.36 and he had three shutouts. He recorded a total of 920 saves last season.
