Cottonmouths fall in overtime to Havoc

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Scott Henegar scored just 27 seconds into overtime to lift Huntsville over Columbus 3-2 on Thursday night.

Henegar also scored at 18:07 of the second period to tie the game at 2-2.

John Lidgett scored the first goal of the game at 2:34 of the first period.

Columbus' Louis Belisle scored both of the Snakes' goals in the first period at 12:10 and 13:13. Andy Willigar and Shawn Bates had the assists on the first goal. Ben O'Quinn and Rusty Hafner had the assists on the second.

Shannon Szabados stopped 33 of 36 shots in goal for Columbus.

The Cottonmouths host Fayetteville on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
