Italian food favorite in Columbus is closing this week. What we know

A popular Italian restaurant in Columbus is closing this week.

Trevioli Italian Kitchen, located at 7466 Blackmon Road, has announced its closure in a social media post. It will be closed effective June 28.

“Due to multiple determining factors, it has become impossible for us to keep the business going,” the post says. “We treasure the shared experiences with you and appreciate your patronage greatly.”

Trevioli owner Trevor Morris did not respond to the Ledger-Enquirer’s requests to comment before publication.

Online users expressed disappointment in the comment section of the restaurant’s closure post.

A user, @keiandrashante, on Instagram commented: “I’m so sorry to hear this. You guys have been my go-to restaurant for the last 5 years. Me, my family, and friends have had great memories at both locations. I wish you all the best. Be blessed.”

Another user, @amanda_martinez_19, commented: “I am so sorry to hear this. Praying for y’all for this next season!”

Trevioli’s food truck will remain open, and their catering services will continue, according to the post. How this closure will affect Trevioli Italian Kitchen at The Rapids, 1329 Front Ave, is unclear.

Morris and his wife, Brandi, started selling their handmade pastas in a storage unit on Veterans Parkway in 2013. Trevioli moved to the Blackmon Road location in 2017 and opened a location at The Rapids in 2020.
