This new Columbus doughnut shop is opening — and offering special deals

Ray’s Donuts’s new Columbus shop is preparing to open this week.

The new doughnut shop at 1821 S. Lumpkin Road. is having its grand opening May 15 at 6 a.m. On opening day, Ray’s is offering free doughnuts for customers who buy a dozen or half a dozen doughnuts.

Customers who buy a dozen doughnuts will receive two free doughnuts, while customers who purchase a half dozen will receive one free doughnut, according to a sign posted on the shop’s front door. A dozen doughnuts costs $15.99, and a half dozen costs $8.50.

About Ray’s Donuts

According to property records, the franchise owner, Masy Seng, bought the property for $190,000 from Clairemont Emmanuel Baptist Church and San Diego Missions Trust in December 2023.

Seng is also behind Ray’s Donuts locations in Canton and Warner Robins, according to the Georgia Secretary of State records.

The Ray’s Donuts menu also offers breakfast sandwiches, such as bagels and burritos. The serves cappuccinos, tea, smoothie and lemonade as well.

Seng did not respond to the Ledger-Enquirer’s request for comment before publication.
