List of 2017 homicides in Phenix City

March

1. Maurice Richardson, 28, of Phenix City was shot and killed March 29 in the 1000 block of 16th Street.

April

2. Jarvis Scott, 26, was fatally shot April 30 at his home in the 100 block of South 16th Avenue South.

May

3. Steven McClendon was shot and killed May 24 at the intersection of Abercrombie Road and Mason Road.

June

4. Frank McClendon was fatally struck by a car June 3 at the intersection of Crawford Road and 17th Avenue. The two-vehicle crash occurred during a high-speed chase.

July

5. Quoyai Shorter, 19, was found dead July 28, 2017, with a gunshot wound to the chest in an aparment in the 2700 block of Eighth Street.

November

6. Jennifer Chambers, 27, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head Nov. 8 in the 1700 block of South Railroad Street.

7. Tyrone Scott, 20, of Phenix City, was fatally shot in the head Nov. 29 in the 100 block of Fourth Street South.
